Job Title: IT Support Technician
Location: Saffron Walden, Essex
Salary: £20,000 - £25,000
An experienced IT Support Technician is required by my client who is recruiting due to their strong organic growth. Joining their successful and dynamic team, this busy and varied role will involve supporting customers based from the office in Saffron Walden using remote access technologies and also by visiting client sites.
You will be responsible for dealing with all level of support calls from initial diagnosis of desktop, application, networking and infrastructure issues through to 2nd and 3rd line technical support working to predefined SLAs working within mainly Microsoft environments.
You must have a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role ideally gained from an IT Consultancy or from an internal department of a large organisation so that you have experience of supporting a wide and varied client base. You must be able to hit the ground running and your skills must include being able to support Windows XP/Vista/Windows 7/ Office 2003 and 2007, Windows Server, Small Business Server 2003/2008, Active Directory management Exchange 2003/2007, Blackberry Server/Windows Mobile, Backup products, Anti-Virus products, DNS/DHCP, TCP/IP, Ethernet, wireless router and Firewall Configurations.
You must have an adaptable and flexible attitude and of high importance, is that you are customer facing with excellent communication and rapport building skills.
This is an exciting and growing organisation that has an enviable client base and a strong position in the IT Marketplace. You must have a full UK Licence and your own vehicle and ideally be based within close proximity of Saffron Walden.
