RecruitAbility Supporting Olly Murs
Bishop’s Stortford based Recruitment Agency RecruitAbility are fully supporting Olly Murs in his quest to be this year’s X-Factor winner ahead of Saturday's live final. Lucy Gilmour, Director of RecruitAbility, used to manage Olly Murs in her previous role as Managing Director of a Witham based agency. “Olly was always singing in the office” explains Lucy who worked with Olly for a year before setting up her own agency in Bishop’s Stortford. “He wouldn’t go anywhere without his ipod and he would often listen to Michael Buble and Robbie Williams so he must be have been thrilled to meet them during the masterclasses on the X-factor.” Lucy continues “Olly was such a popular recruitment consultant with the clients, he’s got such an engaging personality that the clients and candidates loved him , he was a pleasure to manage and was great fun to have around. He always wanted to be famous and took 3 weeks off to appear on Deal or No Deal in 2007 but sadly only came home with £10.00 but he wasn’t that disappointed because he was so excited to have been on TV and was lapping up the attention.” Lucy and the rest of the team at RecruitAbility have been following his X-Factor story closely “I was so excited when I saw that he was on the X-Factor and I was sure that he would do well. He would often sing at company nights out and was always a great character to have in the office, it’s great to see him really enjoying himself and doing what he loves and I hope he goes all the way. He’s a natural entertainer and recruitment’s loss is X-Factor’s gain!”
