RecruitAbility is a recently established agency in the Herts & Essex area which offers over 28 years experience in contingency, search & selection, inhouse recruitment and HR. We are passionate about our industry, our business and it's success and we therefore provide an exceptionally high level of service to our clients. Having been hiring managers ourselves, we know what we look for and like to avoid in an employment supplier and so we have created our company around that knowledge. We understand that many organisations become understandably frustrated with agencies and we are committed to breaking the mould and will upkeep the right level of communication throughout the process whilst providing a professional, honest and even enjoyable service delivered directly from the business owners.

The Signature Service

If you are looking to recuit a new member of staff it's imperative that you get it right, therefore we believe it's a job best left to the experts. Using our expertise, we will work closely with you to totally understand your company culture, ethos and standards so that we not only find the candidates with the best skills, but also the right personality fit too. With our knowledge of the best mediums, we will place adverts both in local newspapers and online with specialist job-boards with well written adverts that will attract the right calibre of candidates. We ensure that all applicants receive a response from us and we undertake the full screening process to ensure that only suitable candidates with relevant skills are selected. Each candidate is presented to our client with a full profile to include our interview notes so that our clients will only intervew candidates that can do the job and who will fit in with the rest of the team or organisation. At inteview stage, you simply choose the candidate you like the best. We ensure that all unsuccessful candidates receive full feedback and still go away with a positive view of your organisation. Meanwhile, we handhold the successful candidate through the resignation process and even keep in touch within their first few weeks of starting to ensure they are settling in well. This whole process is straight forward and leaves our clients to use their own time more effectively which is even more important in the current economic climate.  This is a 'contingency' service meaning that we only invoice you if we successfull place the right candidate with you.

The Purple Packages

We understand that some clients don't have the budget or desire to outsource the whole recruitment process, therefore we are able to provide a solution to every recruitment situatin. We have carefully broken down the whole recruitment life cycle and can offer every stage as an individual package depening upon your needs, time constaints and budget.

Advertising

Some of our clients enjoy carrying out their own recruitment and therefore look to advertise their vacancies and handle the rest of the process themselves. Local newspapers are not in expensive and tend to either inundate you with a lot of irrelevant CVs or quite often no CVs at all. We are able to offer our clients the perfect solution to this situation and our clients can purely place their advert with us for a one off fixed fee. Your advert can run and run until the role is filled and can be tweaked or changed if necessary. For this fee, your advert will appear on our own website which is targetted to attract local job hunters and will also feature on at least 20 other online job boards. You can choose whether your advert appears with your own contact details if you enjoy the PR that recruiting could give your company, but if you would prefer to be anonymous and avoid all those calls from recruitment agencies then we will simply forward the responses to you.

Screening & Selection

We understand that some of our clients would prefer to place an advert themselves as they have found this to be successful for them in the past. However, the screening of the CVs is very time consuming and when candidates apply to you directly, it is impertive that they receive some kind of acknowledgement of their application and also to hear an outcome, should their application not have been successful. At this stage, we can step in and phsyically take the applications from you, fully screen the responses rejecting the unsuccessful candidates and speaking to those with the most relevant skills. We will then return all the applications including a shortlist of candidates who have been telephone interviewed and who we would recommend interviewing.

Our clients find this service very cost effective and also a real time saver and like all our services, can be tweaked around your needs.

Interviewing

For those clients who have a candidate in mind who they would like make a job offer to, we can give you peace of mind by providing an interviewing service. We interview the candidate for you to give you a completely subjective point of view on the candidate by asking them competency based questions. We will then give you a full report of our findings and discuss the candidate with you therefore either confirming your thoughts or highlighting concerns. This interview can either take place at your premises or at our offices in central Bishop's Stortford.

Skills Testing & Psychometric Testing

With so much information readily available on how to give a good interview, how can you be totally sure that your candidate has the capabilities that you are looking for? So as not to leave anything to chance, why not let us skill test your prospective candidate to ensure that the skills you're looking for or to identify any training areas so that you the candidates capabilities from day one. we have over 1000 tests to choose from ranging from Admin, IT, HR, Acccountancy & Finance, Warehouse, Legal, Customer Service, Sales and many more. Open Evenings/Group Interviews

A number of our clients find it easier to interview candidates in groups, especially if they are looking to recruit multiple roles. In this event, RecruitAbility will not only source and screen the candidates as above, but will also arrange the venue, arrange for the candidates to attend at the appropriate time, be there to greet them and explain the interview process and to de-brief with the candidates and the clients afterwards. Again, we take away all the administrative duties including informing the unsuccessful candidates of the outcome and also confirming 2nd interviews or offers of employment. Our clients find this process to be very time effective and candidates find it enjoyable and comment on how it speeds up the process, helping them to find suitable roles within a short space of time.

Administration/Secretarial Services

For those clients who have extremely busy periods or work alone and dont have the need for a full time member of staff, we can offer administration and secretarial services ranging from powerpoint presentations, excel spreadsheets, general correspondence, mail merges etc.
